Gerdar Forest. Estany Llong and Estany Negre of Cabanes Valley

Very good route with family (boy of 12 years and girl of 7 years) through the forest of Gerdar, the lake Llong and the lake Negre de Cabanes. The track on the way back loses its signal before reaching the bridge (point 6) and then goes far to the left and then suddenly back in a straight line until it again contacts the path to the right of the bridge. River. (In fact the route is in a single path until you reach the top and on the way back when you reach the bridge you must follow without crossing the river, there is no loss) We start the route in the car park next to the road. There is also a signpost where we will see a path on each side, we will take the one on the right to go up and we will return on the left. We will start climbing through the middle of the forest of Gerdar. A beautiful, shady forest that will keep us cooler in hot weather. We will follow the path until we leave the forest, then we will find more views as we will not be so covered by trees. Later we will find a bridge made with three tree trunks, we will cross it and on the other side we will see a signpost, we will continue on the right, that is to say up because the one on the left is the back one. We will continue to climb following the river until we find another signpost that marks 10 minutes from the black lake and continue up 15 minutes from the Llong lake. Once all together we eat a little and start the return following the same path until we find the bridge. This time we do not cross it and continue straight. The path will take us back into the gerdar forest where we will find a bridge very low and we will cross it and we will practically find the initial car park. As I explained at the beginning, there is only one marked path, in the part of the forest it is circular and the top goes up and down right there. Route that is well worth doing
