We spent the night at the Saboredo refuge where we were treated very well and had a spectacular meal. The three boys who run the shelter are very kind. We start the route early from the refuge and following the gr211 in 1 hour and a half we arrive at Port de Ratera leaving behind countless lakes and ponds. Once we reach the pass we leave the GR and climb up the end of ascent following the milestones. The climb is easy but hard and in half an hour we reach the top. The views are majestic, Colomers Circus, Punta Alta, Montardo, Aneto, Besiberris, Gran Tuc de Colomers on one side, Els Encantats on the other, Estany de Sant Maurici, Estany de Ratera, Agulles d'Amitges and Saboredo, the Ruda valley to the north, the Bonaigua, Vaqueira ..... Wonderful. After enjoying a good time of this show we went down to the shelter by the same path we went up. We take advantage of the fact that it is still too early to approach Baish Lake. Once cooled down we go down to the car park first by a path and then by a rather damaged track.
